Logo needed for ‘Handyman Heroes UK’. Posted by: luke

The Brief:
——————————————————————————————————————-
I will be launching a new handyman business called ‘ Handyman Heroes UK ‘ in Jan/Feb next year and I am looking for someone to design me a logo for this.
The person who I decide to go with will receive £200. All entries/first pitches are to be submitted by 18th December 2009. If you think they are contenders, send as many as you like in. No other colleges have been invited to take part.
——————————————-
I am open to all ideas – although below are a few points to bear in mind. However, if you feel strongly that you have an idea that does not answer the brief send it in too – you never know…
I have added UK on the end of Handyman Heroes because another Handyman Heroes already exists, so please make sure the colours/layout are totally different from theirs.

I’m looking for something that is subtle, different, mature, stylish, modern, approachable, trustworthy. It must not be sinister, too fussy, silly or too manly and please – no supermen with a hammer in his hand, A Team etc!
Many handymen websites seem to have tools in their logo. I don’t mind this particularly as long as it answers the brief and is different.

The men working for me will be wearing a sweat shirt with the same colour as the logo every day, so spare a thought for them – (no pinks).
My wife keeps banging on about having silhouettes of men in the logo. If you can think of a good one please submit it – but don’t let this distract you from your creative thought processes!

Any questions, please contact  Tim Wheatley : timjwheatley@aol.com

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 18th DECEMBER
